Akita Club of Finland

Akita Club of Finland was established in 1989. First the club represented only akitas but during 2000-2003 our club represented also american akitas and year 1999-2007 also shibas. Today american akitas are represented by the American Akita Club of Finland and shibas by the Finnish Shiba Club.

Today the Akita Club of Finland represents not only akita but also shikoku, hokkaido, kai and kishu though there have not been any registrations under these breeds in Finland to date.

Our club has all together approximately 150 members, we publish Akita magazine four times a year and arrange a summer camp with different activities. Our speciality show is annual and held in Autumn.

Browse through our website and in case you have any questions please feel free to contact us with the feedback form or directly to our contact persons listed under Akita Club info.
